How to choose a pixel pitch

Pitch is the distance between pixels. Closer viewers need a finer pitch. This note is the rule of thumb we use before a formal drawing.

Measure the nearest seat, not the far wall. A lobby where people walk up to the screen is a close-view job even if the room is large.
